Modelo and other assorted alcoholic beverages

Not much to report this week. Has been fairly busy at work but uneventful on the whole.

Have purchased some superb new albums... "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull (who I am off to see in March) and "Camel" by Camel, a superb and often unheard of guitar-driven proggresive rock band. Both albums have been repeatedly played over and over again since I bought them. Amazing! Would highly recommend both!

Had my first proper night out in town in ages last night. Safe to say I am not feeling 100% today! HAHA! Still, its gotta be done. Had a great time. I will most definitely be enjoying the new late opening hours in town now anyway!

This week I have been mostly listening to "Camel" by Camel, "Welcome to the North" by The Music, "Out of Exile" by Audioslave, "The southern Harmony and Musical Companion" by the Black Crowes, "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull, "Unknown Pleasures" by Joy Division, "Brighten the Corners" by Pavement, "Halcyon Daze" (Best of) Procol Harum, "Surfer Rosa" and "Come on Pilgrim" by Pixies and "Hatful of Hollow" by the Smiths.

Lark's Toungues

Thanks to everybody who came along to see My & My Girl in Theatre Elli this week. Every night was a success... can't wait til the next one now!

Hopefully I will be able to acquire some photos from somewhere from Me & My Girl so will get them onto my site as soon as I do.

This week I have been mostly listening to "White Light/White Heat" by the Velvet Underground, "Tommy" by The Who", "The Grateful Dead [1971]" by The Grateful Dead, "Blonde on Blonde" by bob Dylan, "7 Worlds Collide" by Neil Finn, "Water and Solutions" by Far and the albums "Red" and "Lark's Toungues in Aspic" by King Crimson.

He's been roasting peanuts out in Timbuctoo...

With less than a week to go until the opening night of "Me and My Girl" it may come as no surprise to you that rehearsals have just been dominating most of my spare time lately..... but I am loving it! It's gonna be so great. Tickets are now on sale from Theatre Elli or you can buy them off me if you like!

This week I have been mostly listening to "Give 'Em Enough Rope" by The Clash, "Reload" by Metallica, "Amorica" by The Black Crowes, "The Village Green Preservation Society" by The Kinks, "Roger the Engineer" by The Yardbirds, The Best of Dire Straits "Sultans of Swing", The Best of Ocean Colour Scene "Songs for the Front Row", "Agents of Fortune" by The Blue Öyster Cult, "Houses of the Holy" by Led Zeppelin, "Grace" by Jeff Buckley, The Undertones singles collection "True Confessions", "Exile on Main Street" and "Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus" by The Rolling Stones, "The Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie, "MACHINA: The Machines of God" by Smashing Pumpkins and "More Songs About Buildings and Food" by Talking Heads..........

...... Yes I have been listening to a lot of music lately! Two main reasons. One is the rehearsing! And the other is because I've had no dosh to go out properly after buying my new computer! Haha! Still, both have been worth it!

Oh something else cool that happened this week is that I e-mailed the comedian Richard Herring (off Fist of Fun, This Morning with Richard Not Judy etc) to say how funny those shows still are today and I got a reply saying thanks!! HAHA! How cool is that!?

See you soon folks!
