DKM update
Thanks to everybody that came to Kavanaghs on April 4th to see my band Time Circus! It was amazing to see such a huge turn out and I hope everybody enjoyed! We've had such incredible feedback and we can't wait for the next one. More gigs are in the pipeline so stay tuned for futher updates very soon!
Oh and by the way, we are currently in the process of completing our full length studio album - aiming to get it finished ready for the summer giggage!!! If you'd like to reserve a copy then just let me know.
We were featured in the entertainment section of the Llanelli Star/Carmarthen Journal today - was a very nice article indeed! Go out and buy a copy now!
I haven't been up to much with the solo perfomances recently - its been ages since I've done any open mic nights. But I have been doing the odd bit of recording here and then when I've had a chance. If you log onto my personal website (www.dkmorgan.co.uk) you will find that I have uploaded my latest tune entitled "Loud and Clear" so check it out!
Thats all for now! Some new pics up etc and the usual....
Chat to you all soon!

Back online!
Hello everyone! I've recently moved house and only just got my internet connection back up and running! So this is my first post in quite a while. Done two gigs since my last, one open mic night at the Kilkenny Cat (31st January) and an acoustic night at The Masons Arms (15th February).
Setlist for the Cat was: "It Ain't Me Babe" (by Johnny Cash), "Make You Laugh/Make You Smile", "Cold Answers to Warm Questions", "Beer Money" and "Gallow's Pole" by Led Zeppelin.
Setlist for the Masons was: "Make You Laugh/Make You Smile", "Seduced", "Cold Answers to Warm Questions", "It Ain't Me Babe" (by Johnny Cash), "Safe To Drink", "To Save a Draining Battery", "Cry of the Harbour Master" and "Beer Money".
Cheers to all who came along! Good crowds at both performances and some other great local acoustic talents! Be sure to check my MySpace profile for my future performances!

Are you going to the Kilkenny Cat (Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme)
Played a great open mic night down the Cat tonight. Has been quite a while since I played the last one but there was some cool stuff happening there tonight. The usual pub rock from Steve and co which always goes down really well. Some nice spanish acoustic which was worth the effort to listen to and a welcomed appearance by popular Llanelli singer/decorator Dennis Lemon.
I did a nice little set which was as follows:
"Cold Answers to Warm Questions", "Beer Money", "That's Entertainment" by The Jam, "The Rug Song", "Octopus" by Syd Barrett and "Scarborough Fair (Simon and Garfunkel)/Tickets".
Thanks to those who came along and glad you enjoyed.
This month I have been mostly listening to "Close to the Edge" by Yes, "Counterparts" by Rush and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" by Genesis.

My first visit to the Gwachel
Just over a month ago I signed up for a slot at the Pontardawe Inn (Gwachel) open mic night and so that evening finally arrived (August 1st). What a lovely place - nice atmosphere and some really talented acoustic musicians played some fantastic originals and covers. My set was as follows:
"Communicating", "Cold Answers to Warm Questions", "Tickets" and "The Jury's Out".
Thanks to everyone who came along to see me play. I will defnitely be playing there again soon!!
Should be recording some stuff with the band this week so stay tuned for news on that front.
This week I have been mostly listeing to "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, "Heavy Horses" by Jethro Tull, "Spectral Mornings" by Steve Hackett, "Rise" by The Answer, "Punch the Clock" by Elvis Costello and the Attractions, "Bossanova" by the Pixies, "Twice Removed From Yesterday" and "Bridge of Sighs" by Robin Trower, "Moonmadness" by Camel, "Awake" by Dream Theater and "In Rock" by Deep Purple.
